The 5th and 6th class students of St. John of God N.S will perform with the CBOI and pupils from all over the country on Saturday 2nd of March 2013 in The Hub in Kilkenny at 2pm ( If you wish to attend this event tickets are available here.)
The Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland was established in 1995 as a peace initiative and is now composed of 120 young people from all over the North and South of Ireland.
The CBOI Peace Proms is a unique musical education programme in which 7,000 children from 250 schools throughout Ireland participate annually. The project culminates in a series of concerts held at premier venues throughout Ireland during February and March.
